Comedian Bernie Mac died early Saturday in a Chicago-area hospital from complications due to pneumonia, his publicist told CNN. He was 50. Publicist Danica Smith did not provide additional details, and asked that his family's privacy be respected.

Humans need something to aspire to that makes them better than other people...celebrities are that! They are human and they are PERCEIVED to be better than others so they are placed on pedestals. We are genetically competitive so we all strive to be the best, some are willing to settle for second best some aren't. The majority just worship someone who has already made it. It's the same reason as why TP199 is your fave rider.

But I like TP for a variety of reasons. I don't like everyone that rides just like I don't like everyone that is on TV.

A good example is my Ex's mom. She is nuts. She watches the E tv station or whatever and grabs every celebrity gossip tabloid on the stands. She is obsessed with the lives of famous people. More so than her own life and the life of her family members. She cares more about what Brittney Spears is doing than her own children. Its sick.
