Does anyone have one of the Mad Catz HDMI converters for the 360 that did not come with a HDMI port???
Stephane, are these things worth it? Will it make a difference?
Thanks for the help...motomike

Mine came with HDMI but I hooked it up with the Standard cables just out of curiosity and HDMI is waaay crisper.
Not sure how a converter would look, but if its not too expensive I would suggest giving it a try.

I bought one yesterday at Gamestop 60.00 bucks NO HDMI cable with it had to buy that seperate at 30.00 bucks at Target, Anyway i have a Philips LCD 1080p 42" TV and a Xbox 360 Pro about 2 years old now with the HD Dvd player attachment and im sorry to say that it DOES NOT play the movies in 1080p but in 1080i instead. I only have 1 game thats 1080p and thats Halo 3 and i really can not tell a difference between this adapter or with the cables. Basicly what ive come to the conclusion is this thing allows you to run 1 HDMI cable instead of running ALL the othe cables for a cleaner set up to your TV, and if you are running an after market cooler on your Xbox youll have to REMOVE it because the HDMI adapter will not be able to plug into it. So save you $$$$ and buy an Elite with the HDMI port built into it im out of 90.00 just so i can run 1 cable instead of the cables that came with the box as well with my cooler that i have sitting on my table now and waiting to see if i get the Red Rings of Death:puppydog: I hope this helped you.

Wow, thanks allot. I've seen the whole bundel at a local Best Buy (adapter and cable for $90). No difference huh? That is strange. What I've been reading is it should help the sharpness but if your running it and it's the same then it's a no go for me....I would like to hear from more people who are running it just to compare so if you have one please chime in.....
Thanks all.................motomike

no problem i too was like SWEET i can watch my HD DVD's in 1080p and my games should be even better as well but it's the same as with the standard cables 1080i so like i said put the 90.00 towards a 360 that has the HDMI port already built in thats what im doing next.

not to start an argument i was simply stateing what was printed on the back cover of my Halo 3 game HDTV 720p,1080i,1080p so that is why i stated i had a game that was 1080p native or not.
