Baja gets released today???

According to a few sites today is the official release date for Baja. I was sure we'd here something about it before this. I also read it may be later in the week. Which is it? anyone know?

I think if it does come out this week it will be tomorrow. Usually video games, dvds, and cds get released on Tuesdays.

Yeah....when I heard that there wasn't gonna be a demo until about 2 weeks after the game ships, I was pretty pissed off....

THQ's "research" department said that their "research" has been showing that games that put a demo out before their launch date have been selling less then ones that don't....

I like playing demos, and if a like a game from it's demo, most of the time i'm gonna go buy it. BAJA: Edge of Control is a great and fun game, I think a demo would have made it sell even better.

Oh well, if people want 2 wait about 2 weeks to try out the demo and see if they enjoy the game, they can do that I guess. But those that won't wait and buy the game right away won't regret it, I guaranty it :sr21:

That's ok about the demo. I would have liked it to come out two weeks AGO,but it is what it is...Now I need to get some sleep...I have about a thousand miles to cover tommorow night......:rockon:

ok i just got done playing some Baja and im likeing the career mode format starting off in the Baja bug and earning points and money to purchase other class cars and engine suspension transmission brakes and other stuff and since i pre ordered i got a special cheat code to unlock the PERFORMANCE PARTS!!!! :rockon: Good job RonRon and all the guys at 2 XL already looking forward to the next game you guys put out :cheers:

Man this game is unbelivable !!!
How percise you have to be with the controlls and the throttle ....You cant go balls out hardly at all ,You have to use the clutch and banked corners to biuld momentum
The vehicle Wear and tear.... how things wear out during the race like your clutch , radiater, shocks and the vehicle motor starts sputtering and it starts handling like crap
So you have to decide if to pull over to get it fixed or try sticking out the race with it screwed up
JUST AWSOME
This Game is exactly how a MX game needs to be IMO

sounds like this will be the next game ill buy. now if could ronron and crew can replicate a modernized MCM2. that game is still awesome.

the engine they used for this would work really well for a motocross game. Obvously the track layouts would have to get some tweaks to work better for bikes, but its actually pretty realistic.
