Im trying to export my video in FCP and its coming out at 500mb. Hook me up with some steps to get the file size way down to something more reasonable. Thanks.

You have to decode the compressor codec and use an image disperser.

Export it, then use compressor for squashing it.

Yea thats what I figured out, but my compressor doesnt work for some reason so Ive been using iMovie to get the size down.

I have another question though. How come on some clips it doesnt let you use the crossfade, it just comes up with a X on the mouse?
