yeah so i broke my fib 3 weeks ago after just recovering from a torn miniscus(sp) in the beggining of the summer..... so pretty much **** luck right...... truthfully im starting to lose it im sooo bored watching my buddies ride is starting to get depressing.... what does everyone do when their broke soo far i've gotten a reckless driving ticket and smoked my weight in wizzy... i need some sort of positive non destructive hobby..... i guess im just being a little girl about this idk..not riding seriously messes with my brain though

I went through the same thing in 2006, I pretty much shattered my scaphoid and had to have reconstructive surgery on it, that laid me up for nearly 7 months total. Find something to occupy yourself, I found that video games and girls are a good passtime. Maybe you should start school if your not in it already, or focus more time on it than previously if you are enrolled. IMO partying got old quick and cars get expensive quick

2005 was my year. Broken Tibial Plateau 1/2 an inch below the knee, and a torn MCL. 6 months in a mid-thigh cast. A month after being released I broke my wrist in 3 places. Injuries suck. I'd definitely look into video games. They are a great way to pass time. And girls are NEVER a bad option.

Broke my lower back and femur in July this year. Played the **** out of my xbox360 the past 4 months or so. No matter what you do it won't be the same as riding, nothings going to completely take your mind off of it.

Try to be productive in some way. Wheter it's studying or just managing your iPod songs. And, play the crap out of the XBox.

last november when I destroyed my leg I really did nothing but play video games and hung out with my girly. I really couldnt do anything else because I had a gnarly external fixator.

I think all I did was work on my beer belly and post on message boards when I was stuck at home for that eternity! My girlfriend actually took pretty good "care of me" too, which helped, but not much else happened during all my collarbone surgeries.:fingergun:
