The bad news is that it was developed by Treyarch, the company that did COD 3 so my expectations are low. The three best games in the series, COD, COD 2, and COD 4 were all done by Infinity Ward.

The good news is that Infinity Ward has signed a deal with Activision that all future COD titles will be developed by IW.

It runs off the same engine as COD4 which is actually the engine developed by the game Quake. So really its about 75 percent just like COD4 with it set back in WWII......again. I played the beta a lot and though it wasn't <b>that</b> bad but it surely wasnt as good as COD4. I will more then likely pick it up just to see what all the other maps are like, and because im flat out tired of COD4. But I dont think it is fair for people to say I hate it because if you like COD4 then you cant hate this one as it is pretty close to the same thing.

Im just going to let my roommate buy it and play his. I played the demo and it was ok but I prefer COD4

the beta sucked, it was so rough, I finally got my copy of the real thing today and my opinion is; single player is pretty damn good. online is a little laggy compared to cod4 and the hit detection is off a hair but I like it. the recoil is very realistic but I hate it cause it always seems to get me killed. tanks are fun. new k/d ratio is nice since Im not a cod noob anymore.
I still havent figured out which gun I like most yet though, they all have weaknesses but so far Im diggin the gewar, dead accurate and it will shoot as fast as you can hit RT.
If any of you guys are on XBOX live, get at me, My ID is Obarf. Ill be spending a lotta time figurin this **** out so get at me and mention ronronmx, youll go to the top of my people i wanna play with list.

The Game is starting to grow on me. Check this out... you can go online and get a complete breakdown of your stats. It even shows each match stats and a map with the places you died. Pretty cool.

PS, the zombie level is out of ****ing control!! I got to level 13 with some friends before being over run.

Yea the furthest we got in the zombie mode was 13. It gets soo nuts at that point.

I like it better than 4 I think the weapons make it more challenging. Love the STG44 and PPsh and the dogs.

I got to level 23 on zombies. It's insane. It takes like three ray gun shots to kill them.
