Here's the latest on me. As some of you know I left the military in December. I recently got a job as a Quality Control Manager in Tulsa, OK. We had been wanting to move there for quite a while. My wife's family lives there and it is a really good place to live. We put our house up for sale and it only stayed on the market for a week. The 2nd person to look at it bought it. A couple of days later I found a house, built in 2004 in Owasso (suburb of Tulsa) that is 243 square foot larger than our house here and we got it for $152,000. Our house here was built in 2005 and is 1615 sq ft. The new one is 1858 sq. ft.

I am spending the week up in Tulsa working and come home on the weekend. This weekend we had to pack the house and next weekend we are moving everything to storage until we can close on the new house in mid June.

That and the fact that I didn't know the new board was up are the reasons I haven't been here.

im a long time reader. From back in the day when FatBoy was a regular. This is some high tech stuff. especially the first topic that had my name right after i joined.

ATTN noobs, here's backstory on how this place came to be.

Odeezie, frustrated with normal internets, went on a brief spiritual journey over 9000 years ago to find the final boss of the internet. His journey was cut short, however, by his arch nemesis, the evil h4cker on steroids: WRX. While it was a momentary defeat, he continued on his path for knowledge. One night, while high on Nicorette, he had a series of hallucinations. It was in these hallucinations that he envisioned a new RonRonMX, complete with a vBookie, photo uploads, and a panic button so he could look at pr0n and not get caught by his boss.

He wasted no time taking many notes on this hallucination (mostly unintelligible) but presented them to the overlord of the eMX community, ronron (not TFS, he's like jabba the hut or something). Ronron was pleased with the little bits he could decipher, and, with a team of dedicated minions, set out to create the most powerful moto-related message board possible.

All was not well yet. The evil h4cker on steroids, WRX, was still lurking in the cess pool of the internets. For the new RonRons to work, he would have to be defeated. Jarid and Demon, mercenary extraordinaires, set a series of traps. Some time last Thursday, it finally happened. As the demonic growl of WRX's 525 KTM grew near, Demon and Jarid unleashed their weapon: an evil troll. The troll began to scream at WRX about how inferior the XBOX360 is to the PS3. After a heated discussion, WRX cracked his 525 wide open and immediately headed to his parents basement.

Thus, RonRon's was free to open. Currently, everything is well in the online motocross message board community, but new challengers appear everyday. Luckily, most of these trolls, such as otter and Krusty, are not cancerous (yet).

Here? Eh, finals are in a day and I'm at home recovering from my wonderful knee transplant. They drilled an enjoyable hole [a little bigger than a quarter] in the back of my knee cap and put the transplant tissue in the hole [tissue was cartilage.] Fixed the rough edges, tightened my ligements and goods, sewed me up and called me fantastic.

I'm just now starting to get back down to 2-3 percocet 10/day. Crutching around the house with full weight, and be a lazzy tush and wheelchair it for long days like Finals.
Another year I get to kiss my summer good-bye to. Hopefully I'll be able to go to the lake or river by July/August. Good news is, I don't have to worry about drunk driving or any of that. Being "handicapped" [and yes I do have a handicap sticker.] means I don't have to do more than what I want. It's nice. :smiley:

Ahh, glad to see this thread is very alive and well. Sorry, I've been gone for like a week. My computer crashed and I've been computer-less for a while. Anybody had a computer crash on them? I was at my sisters and she had to run to the office to get some papers so i told her i would watch her little girl. while she was gone I remembered i needed cups from Walmart for tomorrow. So i got her car seat and stroller and put it in my truck and went to walmart. I got there and finally figured out how work the stroller and went in. I was walkin down the isle looking for cups and i bet 10 smokin hot girls in there 20s(in only 18) stopped me asking what her name was, what my name was, was it mine, and how old she was. I can add a hack that will put any name chencges in the posters profile...The only thing that sux is it has to be name changes from now on...So it will keep track of peeps wanting to change their names once they are signed up, but it will be useless to figure out who they are from the old board. It also lists all the times they are banned. :shrug:
