I see we can listen to the webcast for $5.99 now.

Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship Official Website (http://sxgp.com/)

I guess that's better than nothing but I'd rather pay $5.99 for live pay per view and listen.

I think they do a great job on the webcast announcing it. Those guys get into the race almost like the Canadian MX announcers. The problem with listening to the webcast is that then you know what's going to happen so watching it on TV is not as interesting. And now it cost 6 bucks too.
I wish I knew why SX doesn't rate to put it on TV live. I don't know if it's 'Monster Jam' is more important and gets better ratings, or if it's just too expensive or difficult to do it live, or if it the promotor, not wanting it shown live if it's not sold out.
Geeze, it's not like Speed has all that many great shows on. Seems like live SX would get good ratings.

I knew they were up to this. They can keep there stupid webcast. All they want is big bucks. $40 times how many thousands of fans. I'll get the results here or some where else like live wire as it happens. Then watch it on cable the next day. I don't like how they held off one week then pull this.:upset::upset::upset::thumbsdown::thumbsdown: :thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::t humbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thu mbsdown:

It's not about you man...so stfu, and I thought you all didn't have any money? If that is not true then stop bs'ing and saying you have no money for races and blah blah blah. If you want to pay $40 a year to listen to the webcast that is totally fine, but I got more important things to spend my money on...like the damn heating bill.

Exactly. Its like what if they charged for the SuperBowl, or every baseball ,football game on TV, etc. Over time the sports would die off from lack of interest because people would stop buying the product.
The reason in part and a large part that Motocross and Supercross have such a following is because they have put it on TV and all of us especially the younger kids watch it and then want to become the next RC, Mc, Ron Ron (had to throw you in SR) ,Bubba ,etc. The reason why they have so many people go to the Stadiums and buy tickets is because they throw us a bone and have it on TV or a live WEBCAST THAT SHOULD BE FREE. This is a step backwards for the sport by charging to hear Jim Holley announce this live via the internet. Put a live Video feed with the broadcast and I'll pay $40, but not until then. Without fans the sport will die off. Whats next pay per view TV coverage of the races the next day?

I'm guessing A1 and Vegas will be the only two live tv races again this year? I'm trying to decide if I want to just pay $6 each to hear a few races or if it would be more worth it to pay $40 for all.

Id rather have it free (over the 40 bucks, who wouldnt?) but do you guys not relize that they need money for camera equiptment, and paying the people to do the show, etc? they need money! i wish it was little less or even free again but with the economy, it was impossible! the new owners of supercross probably didnt wanna pay to deal with the whole sx live thing.. so they had to make it where you had to pay to keep them going.. if you dont wanna pay, then dont! you dont need to ***** about it all season. watch it on TV then! me personally, i payed. sx isnt the same without it.

and yeah BradRacing, my family is running low on money.. but with my brother getting a job at starbucks it helps alot! and i ride at piru mx for free and i can ride at tom holts gnarly ass outdoor track anytime i want, too.. so i dont even need to pay for riding (exept for gas).. only reason im only going to 1 anaheim this year is so i can race gold cup! I only did 2 races in 2008, LLQ when i got hurt and US Open's amateur day.

It's under the link for the full season, you can choose the single race or the whole package.

I know this is last years thread, but does anyone know if they are doing the webcast this year? It'll be a bummer if they don't.
