Just wondering what everyone's preferred method of gaming is. I'm more of a PC guy, especially for first person shooters like COD, mouse and keyboard work awesome for me. I have a PS3 but is mostly used for blu-ray movies, the free demos and racing sims. I can't get over the graphics for the PS3, I downloaded the demo for Motorstorm Pacific ridge, pretty freakin awesome.
Anyway, next month I am upgrading to an XFX Nvidia 3way mother board and intel quad core processor. Right now am running a gigabit mobo, Nvidia 9800gtx+ and AMD 3500+ processor with 3gig of ram. It should be a nice change to go from single core to quad.

Just got my custom designed PC from CyberPower this past friday and I have to say I'm very pleased with it thus far. I went for a (4GB) PC, with a Q6600 CPU and a ATI 4850 Graphics card as this is a good setup for a budget gamer. It runs Crysis very smoothly with everything on high (amazing game), so i'm well pleased.
I'm also more of a PC guy at heart although until recently I was always stuck with a really crap computer and have been on the 360 instead these past 2 years in order to play the latest stuff. Love PC games.... better for shooters IMO and ofcourse, there's always a much greater scope for mods.

Nice, just built my new box yesterday, sooner than I thought! Same processor as you, XFX 780i sli3 way mobo and an xfx 9800gtx video card wth 2 gigs of corsair 6400 ram. I'm not going to go any further than the 2 gigs for no until I get a 64bit os. Been playing x-plane flight sim on full rez, shiat is sweeet!

I rarely play games like i used to when i was younger, i mainly bought the PS3 for the blu-ray player so i own more blu-ray movies than games, however the gaming on it is great and there are a few titles i'm looking forward to trying out... Gotta love the free demo's as well!
