Do I not get Speedvision?

****ing Comcast ****ty cable service. I'm paying out the ass for the same service that cost half the price just a few years ago. I get the ****ty golf channel, multiple channels in Spanish, and NO Speed channel! This is bull****.

Not in my area, and Verizon is retardedly slow at deploying it. Not only that, Comcast just upgraded to DOCSIS 3.0 in my hood. So I will get a free upgrade from 8mbps to 16 :D

Takes time to run all that fiber dude:nuts: The government should spend some of that stimulus on local fiber to the home.

I know it takes time, but I have been looking into availability the last 5 years. Lots of people are complaining about the deployment times. Comcast technically is fiber as well, until about the last mile, then its copper. I'm happy with them for now, should they try to F me I will make the switch before they can blink.... if fiber ever makes it here. Not like the bay area is one of the most technologically advanced areas in the world, why would we get Fios? Eh well. :-P

Everyone is fiber till the last mile thats the whole point. Getting that last mile onto glass is the expensive part.

It sucks, comcast in springs has speed as part of the basic package, but 35 miles south we have to get all sorts of extra BS to get it.
