Site is crashing every now and then..

Sorry if this is the wrong place. The site crashes when ever i try to change my sig, avatar, or upload a picture to my albums. :-/

Yea, it froze while trying to upload a picture to my album. Not sure why.

If you guys experience problems, let me know what time and what the symptoms are. I think the server recycles at the same time everyday much like the old site, so that may have been what you were experiencing.

If it is not that, then I will have to make some changes to optimize settings to take some load off teh server. :thumbsup:

When you say the site crashes, do you mean it hangs and you have to restart your browser or do you get a database error ( a white page with lots of lines that don't make any sense ) or both?

I have had some problems before where I get a database error when i try to post or reply. Doesn't happen often, but it does....we're working on it :good:

Since this is a new board, you might experience a bunch of glitches/bugs since we are still improving it, so make sure to let either Odeezie or I know when this happens, and what kind of problems you're having. Also, let us know which browser you're using ( IE 7.0/6.0, Firefox, opera, safari ? )

I just click "upload picture" or "save avatar" and it would come up with "this page cannot be displayed". But then when i go pack to my profile, the pictures/avatar were uploaded. IE7

Hummmm...thx for the info! Let us know if anything else weird happens! We're looking into all the current issues to resolve them :good:
