... and find a video of yesterday's ride aboard my project bike (see topic titled Project bike). It was made by some kid who had a flat tire and couldn't ride so he took out the camera and filmed.

Excuse the cornering speed, they didn't water enough and it was like riding on flour with hard pack tires...

haha that's awesome!
You're looking good. Clearing everything in sight! Gotta love hearing the sound of 125 flat-out!!:rockon:
Who did your suspension Donald Duck?
I think I got a pogo stick in the garage with a better suspension set up.
Set your shock sag, soften your compression and slow down you rebound a ton.

Yeah, I'm working on that. The sag is set on the rear but my front springs are too hard. I told the guys at Stadium I liked my suspension to feel stiff... I didn't know what I was asking for. I already started softening it but yesterday I just felt like riding so I didn't touch it. I'll work on it again tomorrow.
Just for the record, how did you see it from the video? I watched it a few times and apart from the forks never bottoming, I don't see anything. Thanks for the tips by the way.

It's a pretty cool track indeed. I'd say it's more of a pro's track, though. If you're not fast and on a 450 some sections are boring because there's nothing you can do but roll the jumps. Other than that it's pretty much a giant SX-style track, safe and fun.
It's in Quebec, Canada. 6 hours from Southwick, 8 from Unadilla and about 2 hours from Ste-Julie (Canadian National).

It's 30 minutes from Quebec city, right in the middle of the province of Quebec, Canada (not too far from Montreal, where you cartwheeled your bike badly in 1996 I believe). They also made the pee wee track so that an adult on a big bike can ride it and have fun (with small tabletops that you can turn into bigger doubles, rythm sections that become whoops, etc.)
If you come to the east coast and want to try it out, you can have my bike.

Well it sure looks like such a fun track to ride!!! Thx for the offer to ride your bike too  I wish we had tracks like that in Phoenix...:wonder:
Off topic..."(not too far from Montreal, where you cartwheeled your bike badly in 1996 I believe)"...do you mean the Montreal SX race? I remember crashing pretty hard there, messed up my thumb really bad and couldn't race. I was really bummed!

Yes, exactly. I remember seeing that on TV. Your front end dropped in the whoops coming out of under the bridge. That was the year before you went to the US and rode for HoT. That was in your heat race. The first time I heard of you.
Ahh, that looks like too much fun! The 125 sounds great, I wish I could take mine out. And that track looks like fun too!

Damn awesome looking track man. You look really aggressive on it. Makes me want to sell my kx for a yz

No idea why you would have ever gotten a KX over a YZ. Yamaha has had the best 125 for like 10 years

Could either get an '04-'05 yz125 for how much $$$ i had at the time or an '07 kx125(this was back in 2007) so i went for the kx. Maybe saving for a crf now anyway

But an '05 YZ125 would have been better than an '07 KX...
Oh well. Maybe I'm just a little too biased in favor of mine
Looks like a fun track
The 125 sounds awesome
