I'm no claimed joomla expert, heck i only started using the program 3 weeks ago but i caught on pretty fast, at least i thought i did. Anywho heres some background I'm a CAD technician, i apply for a job at a building forensics group i get said job they make me an IT guy. It makes no sense to me but whatever it was pretty easy for awhile so i didn't care. Well i might have hurt my companies website today, I got no one to go to just some crappy joomla notes the guy before me left. And i hit a pickle. the only reason why i ask is that i know ronron uses joomla and the mods must be pretty good with it.

Well on to my problem, the website is libertybuilding.com/new. I was updating some info under the available seminars section. it was easy stuff, i just accidentally linked some subcategories to other subcategories. So when a person clicked July it would take them to August. It's an easy fix, I've done it before and I've fixed it before but this time when after i finished it i go to the website to check it out and all the categories and subcategories under available seminars was gone. The only thing that was left was information for a december 2nd seminar. mind boggling i know. everything was still published, i hadnt deleted a damn thing. I have no idea what happened. I e-mailed a guy i know but i have no idea when he will get back to me. Does anybody here have any idea why these things are no longer viewable on the website? Perhaps I'm just a retard. I know it must be hard to understand me, but i figure you guys are pretty good with this sheez. I'd really like to not get fired... It's the best paying job i've ever had plus its close to the house, i don't fill up my gas tank but once every ten days. I need some help, a prayer, a friggin miracle right now.

hummmm....I have been working with Joomla for the past few month now, and even though i'm no expert, i am starting to get very familiar with it. Are you using Joomla 1.0 or 1.5 ?

If you don't mind, give me admin access to your back-end and i will try fix or locate your problem.

You could look at the Decemeber 2nd settings and just copy them over to the other dates and see if that works. Your probably overlooking something minor that is throwing it off.

Yea it was some minor stuff. Some links were messed up, i dont know how but i think it was somebody in the office trying to add new content. It's cool though, my job is saved thanks to dizzle and ronron :coolcat: I appreciate the help as always guys
