Rider reflex sounds cool. I hope it allows me to adjust my seat, mirrors, and cup holder in my monster trucks, hover crafts, tanks, dune buggies, and trains that they also like to put in the game.

Yes holiday season generally means Christmas. And yes they made untamed, but this looks pretty different from what I can tell.

I'm pretty sure most of the Rainbow people went to 2XL, so that's probably why Untamed was such an awful game. They got absolutely everything wrong with that game. Bad sound, abysmal handling, terrible animations, average graphics, and too many vehicles. Here's hoping they got their **** together.

Patrick is correct, but Elliot seems to be pretty cool and has been on here before and motonews talking about the previous game. It seems he did do what some have asked for.

im looking for good physics, good tracks, and good career mode.
thats all i want in a game haha
NOT 400 ft jumps, NOT wheelie over everything and go 8-6 in a sx rythm.. and NOT gay career modes.

I think if this game would be half of what Baja was, it would be a lot of fun.

Heaven to Betsy Rainbow doesn't do exactly what YOU want. Any progress is good progress at this point. At least they are making another game.

Screw career mode. As long as their's a code that unlocks everything, it's all good.

so your saying they dont care what the PEOPLE want? theyre gonna make the opposite of what people will like? is that your saying?

Well, they want to sell the game to more than just people who ride. It has to appealu to a larger audience or they will sell even less games than if they just focus on what is accurate and what people who actually know about bikes want in a game.

even if they are trying to sell it to non-moto people.. a good career mode would be good.
i know non-moto people (one of my old friends for example) wanted the biggest jumped fastest tracks ever, and to do a bunch of tricks in the air.

**** career mode, stop trying to live your life through video games, just make all the tracks available from the start and make it fun to play, unlockables is over rated.
O'Brien#12

The unlockables is about reply value. They have to put something in there that makes you want to complete the game more than once. It's a very clever way of making you think you have got more game than you have. They will never make a game which doesn't have you "unlock" aspects.

O'brien is 100% correct. You guys remember the old Supercross 2000 game? Poeple *****ed because there was zero unlockables. You won the career then yay, you got a trophy presentation. So the next year they had a ridiculous amount of unlockable riders.
DD is right though, the career mode has been a failure on almost all MX games. The only ones to come close to a decent one, was TPs game and MX Rider. You need to be able to customize your riders look (more then just black/white, male/female) you need to start as an amatuer, you need sponsors, and better bikes based on race results.

another mx vs atv unleashed with new tracks would be fine by me. if i wanted to get greedy, maybe tracks change and break down as the race goes along but ehh, who cares

dont they make good career modes for games like gran turiso and stuff?? why cant they for mx? MTX Mototrax had a great career mode, the career mode is the ONLY reason why i love that game so much

To be honest Iv'e always found lockables a major pain in the a##. I don't want to start the game off with only $50, 2 tracks available and one slow bike. Thats a little too close to real life for me.
I just don't have the time, patience or skill to unlock every possible aspect of a game. I want to CHOOSE what I want to do. However as long as there's a master cheat available, I don't mind.
Here's hoping the terrain deformation thing really works and that it isn't just a case of insignificant texture changes 5 laps in, to give the appearance of ruts. I want the track to rough up to the extent that I have to switch lines, I want the track to get harder and harder to ride, my lap times should slow etc.

yup as long as their are cheat codes they should make the career mode as gnarly as possible

I didn't realize so many people disliked Untamed. I think it's pretty cool and still play it fairly often. Yeah there's a lot of stuff that could be different/better, but it wasn't bad enough for me to put it on my shelf after a few plays and leave it there.
I'll just be happy if they continue to make new downloadable tracks after the game is released. There's not NEAR enough tracks on Untamed and I wish soo bad they would create some more downloadable ones.

^^^ I would be soo content if we could get some downloadable tracks. I just hope they make the supercross and motocross tracks gnarly. Now that the game play seems to be much improved I'm just hoping for better tracks.

I think having the track get rougher as the race gets longer would be a lot of fun. Have some ruts and braking/acceleration bumps. And having 12 racers was a great upgrade on Untamed, but even more would never hurt

I play Untamed regularly on PS2.
Its not the greatest game but at the same time I still enjoy playing it over all the other motocross games I have (now that I'm used to that weird @ss camera angle they have in the corners), but it gets the job done. It also sounds like Untamed on XBOX 360 is so much better. Its only like 6 riders on PS2 as well:thumbsdown:

i thought untamed for xbox and ps3 was horrible. but the ps2 version on PRO physics with the mx super 500 is perfect, you can actually feel the torque and the physics are awsome in my opinion
