I am gonna be honest.

Most of my friends were talking about cars and were lookinng forward to buying their first car and talking about their favourites just before we could go for our learner's licence. I thought of it as a waste of money as I had my bike to worry about and all. After driving my Nissan Pulsar around that I've had since I did the tranny in my first car, a Mazda 626. I thought about saving for a proper car but never could.

One of my mate's bought a '93 Toyota Supra about 2 months ago. It wasn't til tonight that he picked me up and took me home from the local club that I got to experience a fast ride. I've ridden in a nice V8 Commodore but its mellow torque had nothing on the Supra's 6-cylinder twin-turbo power! Far out I want to live out my dream of owing a new bike and an STi!

Cars never really took my interest until about a year ago and now I am keen as ever to get a proper car! I can't afford it right now but it makes me look out and dream.

Anyone else like this?

im not much of a car guy. i like having a nice truck. my truck doesnt look blinged out but its nice, reliable, has a great sound system, leather and all that. thats all i need. my money goes into racing and bikes.:thumbsup:

Yea, I'm constantly looking at cars on trademe. The only problem is though I can still buy a decent car( maybe something like an alteza, not sure) but gas prices are getting ridiculous and i would probably use a full tank or two in a week most of the time and i only get $100 a week...And then theres maintenance lol. I might just stick to my bike for $30 to get me 250k's of road and get 0-60mph in less than 4 seconds. What car do you want to get?

Not much of a car guy, but gas prices are slowly changing that.
