I think that was mainly because he posted it on the internet. Speed and Racer X have exclusive video rights to all nationals and there's really not supposed to be any other video footage in existence to be viewed by the public. I may be wrong though..

It was because we were filming from inside the fences. You should be good if your on the spectator side.
