Specifically the 151; are there many modifications you need to do to put one on your bike? And I understand there will be loss of reliability but will that mean phantom grenading or just increased need for maintenance, and if so, how much?

The whole engine is not constructed for the strongers forces that will occur. Bearings, gears and everything will wear out faster. If your unlucky they will break. You have to shorten your maintance intervals and give your bike a lot of mechanical love.

Inspect it a lot, big end and crankshaftbearings will propably go first. Use good oil, maybe lubricate it a bit more greasy (1:35 or 1:30 instead of 1:40)?

If you put a stroker motor in YOU MUST USE NJ BEARINGS FOR THE AIN BEARING!!! instead of ball bearing there thick needle bearings they coast about 40 dollars a bearing but all the factory, satillite and big privater teams(Solitare ect) use them i put them in when i do the first rebuild. what the do is they space the load out and help take the vibration out of the motor i work at crank works and when ever we do a stroker we recommend those bearings for the cases. get them or dont build a stroker thats my opinion.
