(The above picture is from Wikipedia.)

It's a 1970's Polaroid SX70 SLR.

I have been trying to get my hands on one for awhile now, and today that finally happened! The camera is in brand new condition which makes it even better.

I know that it might not seem that cool to a lot of people, but I can't even explain how stoked I am to have one. I am a huge fan of polaroids and cannot wait to start taking pictures with it. The colors and vintage feel that come across in the pictures is beyond cool.

I'll make sure to scan and post some pictures once I get film.

Can it zoom to get a picture that makes your Junk Yard Dog look bigger?

It looks like something my family used to have, and you are right about the pictures. The colors aren't quite right, etc... but it's a cool look. Funny thing about that is that I think all the pics I've seen from it are 70s, so the colors of the clothes were a little different anyway! So post up some pics, I'd love to see them!

If it works, slap it on ebay. I've seen some go for a couple hundred.

My uncle has a shoe box full of poloroids hes taken of chicks he got with over the years... even recent ones, (even my cousins' mom) They arent afraid to bare it all in front af a poloroid compared to a digital, takes a lot more effort to get them online for the world to see.

SWEET! That's definitely a prize. Old film cameras like that are definitely neat to see/mess with.

Your cousins mom would be your Aunt. You dad funked his sister and took pics?

His cousin's mom would probably be his uncle's wife. Unless something is seriously wrong with his uncle.
