Some kids found this bike in a ditch down the street and brought it to my house for us to work on. Well.. several months went by and it went untouched in my garage, and with not a lot of riding going on while its cold, my dad and I are finally trying to take it apart and see if we can hopefully get it running and fixed up a little. Heres what we got so far. Took the motor out and seeing whats wrong. the Piston was so corroded, we had to heat up the cylinder to get the piston unstuck.

I'll post more as long as we go.

I hope the transmission still works, it seems to shift fine in each gear and we got the piston to move easy in the cylinder.

Cool, I love these threads.

I will watch with interest. I had a 1978 XR75. I would ride it more than my DT175 it was just so fun revving it out and throwing it around.

The exhaust on it broke where it would go along the frame rail. It was "like a low flying chopper" and I used to pretend it was a 250f lol.

Way back in 1981, my first bike was a 1974 XR75.

Even back then, I could tell 4-strokes were pieces of crap. Especially Hondas.
J/K. Good find.
