Look What's Back in my Garage!!

I got it back tonight :) Traded vinyl graphics work for it and I am stoked to have it back. The bike is in the EXACT shape it was in when I sold it to him over 5 years ago!! He rode it 2 times and other than that it has been in his shed.

I plan to hold on to this forever now, especially sicne the 2 strokes are a dying breed. Tomorrow I'm going through the whole thing to check seals etc and get it all cleaned up. Check the top end etc. and get her 100% before I even bother firing it up. Best thing is I haven't sold my 200EXC yet so I can swap the triple clamps back again...and put the TAG 18mm offset's back on the 125 where the started back in 2002 :)

Damn it feels good to have the bike back...this time around I hope to not break the other collarbone :-D

He fired it up a year ago...I'm tearing it apart today to clean out the old gas etc. and check the top end and what not.

I'm anxious as hell to ride it again. Now that I have a helmet cam I'll start using it and post some vids tearing it up.

That's really cool. I almost bought a friend's 2001 125SX that had been sitting in a barn for 4 years. He said he wanted to get back to riding so he didn't want to sell. When he got to it all bearings and stuff was rusted. He ended up selling it (about a week after I got the YZ) and got an 08 144.

125s are where it's at. Have fun!

well I swapped the triple clamps back over and drained all the old gas out...pulled the carb out for a cleaning and swapped the plug...fired up 2nd kick. I can't wait to get out and rip with this thing...that's the first time I've heard it run since I sold it...the bike is in immaculate condition, as I was pulling stuff apart I couldn't believe how clean it was...he rode it so little that it didn't even get that dirty from when I had originally cleaned it up to sell it...

I'm happy as a pig in **** now that the bike is back. Hopeing to get out this coming weekend and put some laps in. I'll take the helmet cam so I can post some vids.
