I'm looking at getting my bike back on the track but I need to source some new wheels. I'm running a Suzuki RM125 '02 but I'm unsure what other model year wheels will fit.
The closest I've discovered is a set for an RM125 2003, but I'm uncertain if these will fit a 2002 model. It would open the door a bit if any other years/models would fit as well, especially if I could use some from an RMZ.
Can anyone shed some light?
Cheers!

I'm no expert, but I would assume if they're the same size, model year wouldn't matter. We swap wheels around on our bikes if we get a flat. We just have a spare set from years ago with an old tire on it thats ready to go.

Cheers mate, I've heard that from a few people so I'm more confident about trying out other years,
Do you reckon an RMZ could be an idea or am I just pushing my luck?

In that case the RMZ black talon's are going to be deleted from my watch list!
Shame, but nice one for letting me know!
2002 and 2003 should swap right over. What you may wanna do is look at part #s for 2002 and 2003 hubs just to make sure. Same part # = same part.

Good thinking! Just looked up each model and they both have the same part number, so it looks like I'm on to a winner! Nice one dude.

Hub width and rotor spacing has been fairly universal for japanese models since 2000. Rim diameter, even longer. You should be good.

Received the 2003 front wheel today and it fitted like a beauty, just waiting for the rear wheel to arrive next and I'm all good to go again! Nice one guys!

It's finally back in one piece again, after 3 long years of it sitting up against the wall behind the pit bikes!
Stripped her down, cleaned every inch of the engine bay and bought a full set of plastics.
Fired up on the first kick which I was quite surprised about. I got goosebumps just hearing the sound of the engine and the smell of the pre-mix really took me back to my racing days!
Viva la 2-strokes!

Welcome back, Spydee! I have to fix my broken YZ250 as well. Long live the 2 stroke!
