Hey ronron, why does the unleashed series have all that non moto stuff? Do they do it because they think it will sell more copies better?

If only they would take all the time they spent on that stuff and put it into the development of the game.

I would love to see a grand turismo style mx game where you get upgrades that actually affect performance, win special bikes that are faster and ect.

Please tell me something new is in the works.

it seems like untamed focused way to much on the whips and scrubs and the X-Cross, rather then the racing part.. its a shame..

because, you can scrub on mx vs atv unleashed, just gotta know how :-P .

make another version of MX vs ATV Unleashed (-the atv's) and have updated bikes and tracks.. look at how badass all these tracks/gear is!!! a MX game with all replica's and new bikes and be able to get contract's with different teams for that season and INJURY's would be awesome.. it would be a mx game for the true mx fans, not the dork bros

Henry was the first to give this whole 4 banger idea a whirl. I remember watching the las vegas SX where he got the holeshot by a mile and everyone was freaking out.

I'd love to see a game thats like the motocross version of madden. All the recent motocross games are too arcade style. Also a good helmet cam view would be awesome. Anyone use to play Supercross Circuit for ps1? They had a good helmet cam and you could rail the corners if you hit a rut. Also, realistic bike sounds is a plus.

idea's for a game:

-career mode, start off on 85's at lake whitney, oak hill, world mini, ponca, (you need to qualify for LL which is tough, and you can choose which qualifiers you wanna do) and can race LL if you qualify, also Mini Olympics.

once you do a season in that, move up to 125/250 Intermediate and race the nationals in that.

then race 125/250 Pro in the next season, and if you dont do that well and dont get enough pro points for a pro lisence, stay another year, or you can get offered a factory ride!

and with that, it can be shuffled teams. where if you score a low amount of points throughout that amateur season you get offered a ride with like soliataire honda or wonder warthog.. if you do well that amateur season, you get an offer from like, i dont know, MDK Ktm or Xtreme Pro Lites Kawasaki

if you do realllly good and get like 5 titles that year, get a ride with torco honda or YOT or something. and if you have a bubba-status year.. monster kawi, team honda, makita suzuki, pc monster kawasaki, etc.

and then you can race supercross lites, east or west. you choose! not sx replica's, but make them realistic supercross tracks how they would be made in REAL life. and then you can do the nationals (glen helen, hangtown, freestone, high point, colorado, red bud, etc etc etc)

3 years in the lites class, then move up to the 450's.

also on your rider, you can choose height and weight and everything.

maybe make it where you can have your own house and buy property and build a track on your property and be able to ride there for free.. but if you dont have enough money to buy property and a track, go to the local track and ride that.. and lets just say each area you live, there is a local track you get to ride, but you need to pay money each time you ride there.. (example: northwest area? washougal - southwest area? perris - south central?


also you can get sponsors, gear, parts, tires, helmets, boots, etc.. and get paid with those sponsors for each good performance.

thats an idea for a career mode i guess.

When we first started MX Unleashed a few years ago, we thought it would be cool to have a plane do fly around the big levels, and some kind of buggy/trophy trucks as wall for fun. But as the series kept on growing, it got out of control! The latest MX game, MX vs ATV Untamed is a perfect example of this....If they spent all the time fine tuning the "MX" game as they did messing with all that other crap, it would have been a much better game!

There's nothing new in the works right now, at least nothing i'm working on, and I am not aware of any MX game being worked on atm. But i know that if we get to do another mx game, we're gonna focus a lot more on a solid career and a sloid "MX" game, and ditch all that other crap that doesn't belong in this kind of game!

I think most of Otter's ideas are good. But I don't know if the 85 thing would happen. I like the idea of amateur nats though. It just always amazed me how motocross games are so far behind games like madden. On maddden in franchise mode, you can even set prices on how much hot dogs are! That is so realistic though. I wish motocross games could be half as realistic.

Like you said, if you do decent as an amatuer you would get like a Moto XXX ride, but if you did really well you would get a YoT or PC ride. MotoXXX or Xtreme team green, or whoever the team is, wouldnt be okay with that.

im saying if you did alright as an amateur, then shuffle all the privateer teams.. if you did great, then shuffle the sateliete teams. if you do good in your lites sx/mx career, shuffle the factory teams.. if you do okay in lites, shuffle the sateliete 450 teams.

ok, if you win a race or two, youll get a ride with pc monster kawasaki.. if you win a title, youll get a ride with toshiba suzuki.

i'm just trying to make a point about how the teams would be made assface.

if your great, youll get on Team Honda.

if your top 10, youll get Motoxxx.
if your outside top 10, youll be wonder warthog.
