Anybody here connect to Xbox Live wirelessly?

I recently got a new wireless router, so I bought a wireless adapter for my 360. It kept saying IP Address failed, so I spent hours on the internet and called Xbox 360 (automated guy) and I CAN NOT get it to work. I have tried every single thing it says to try on Xbox's web site and in the books and it still won't work. Any advice???

I think you need to open up ports in your router. go to the router settings and you should be able to type the xboxs id in. I'm not too sure about this but i remember hearing something along these lines.

Any advice???You need to check your security settings on your router, many are set to not allow unauthorized users to tap into it, it might reject your 360 as an intruder.

anyone find the solution to this problem? my 360 is doing the exact same thing and im gettin pissed because i just bought a one year membership :cry:

I finally ended up getting mine to work. It turned out that I had the wrong WEP key entered.. so check and double check everything that Microsoft instructs you to do.
