Manzanar looks like a pretty place (with a horrible past). You got any more? Is there anything left from the camps besides graves?
They is a museum and one barracks everything else is gone. There is a driving tour that takes you through the camp with signs where everything was located. Its off of 395 in the shadow of the Sierras and Mt.Whitney. You pretty much summed it up beatiful place with an ugly past. When I stopped there the monarch butterflies were moving through so it was pretty cool but there wasn't much esle to photo and I was in a hurry :embarrassed:

Yeah that shot really made me happy. It's weird cus every other flower shot I had that day just wasn't that great.. none of them impressed me. But I love that lens and my D50 always surprises me. I just bought a D300 a few hours ago so I'm probably gonna crap my pants when I get to start shooting with it.

Thanks man the camera belongs to my girlfriend haha she bought a D40 for a hobby I guess. I was all done riding for the day so I grabbed her camera and it took me about 20 pictures to figure it out but then i got the hang of it.
